Summer Shoe Must Haves

Hey everyone! It’s almost that time of year again. Schools close, pools and beaches open. That’s right Summer!! Everyone has plans for the best time of year whether it be vacations, BBQs, beach days, or just hanging around with friends. Everyone has the basics, tanks, shorts, flip flops but its what to pick for what occasion that is the question.

My go to shoes are my Haviana flip flops. They are the most comfortable flip flops out there. Whether it be an 8 hour shift at work, a coffee run or a trip to the beach I throw those on. They come in all different styles, basic or printed. Here are a few

Every girl needs a good pair of heels. Depending on your style will depend on what you go for but Summer is notorious for its wedges.

Sandals are great for a casual day but a day you don’t just want to wear your flip flops. Gladiator sandals are very popular this season so try picking up a pair! They have all different types short, mid height, tall, ones with a heel, they’ll tie you’re outfit together because the shoes really do make the outfit.

RIP Vince Camuto 1936-2015

This comes as a complete shock to me, as I had just applied at one of his stores yesterday. The co-founder of major brand Nine West died at 78 years old on Wednesday January 21st 2015. The major designer is one of womens most iconic shoe designers. His shoes are fabulous and his legacy will live on in his acquired brands like Tory Burch and BCBGMaxAzaria. He has numerous different chains, such as Vince Camuto, and VC Signature.

Your shoes are beautiful and the fashion industry will surely miss your creativity and passion. Rest in peace.

There are some really fun shoes strutting down the runways. Woven details, crazy platforms, strappy details and super fun gladiator sandals are all great shoe trends for the 2015 year.

Boot appreciation post

I know I’m missing some but I have 16 pairs of boots. I know this isn’t a lot compared to some more avid shoe collectors, but my boots are my life saver. I have really really small feet (I’m a 3 in kids) so its really hard to find cute shoes in my size. Also I’ve had many injuries throughout my life, from when I danced and taught dance at a younger age. Since those injuries I can’t wear those beautiful pumps I see all over the runways and on people I see everyday. But I have my boots and especially on long 8 hour shifts at work I need something that will support my feet.

My favorite fall boots

These boots were made for walking! And showing off. These boots are so much fun to pair with any outfit. Over the knee boots are such a great style for fall. Brown is everyone’s fall color so grab yourself a pair and be fun.
